The list below is a summary of our requirements. Detailed descriptions are provided in the AROSC Competition Code.
Safety Helmet: Snell SA2000/M2000 (or newer) approved. DOT rated helmets are not
acceptable.
Eye Protection: Helmet face shield or glasses (sun glasses are OK).
Clothing: Non-synthetic/natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants (no shorts, no dresses).
Gloves: Non-perforated, leather or fireproog material (leather garden gloves are OK).
Shoes: Full coverage shoes (no sandles).
Safety Helmet: Snell SA2000/M2000 (or newer) approved. Snell SA rated helmets are highly recommended.
DOT rated helmets are not acceptable.
Eye Protection: Helmet face shield or glasses (sun glasses are OK).
Clothing: Natural fiber clothing, long sleeves, long pants (no shorts, no dresses). Clothing
made from Nomex®, or equivalent is highly recommended.
Gloves: Made from natural material (garden gloves are OK), Nomex®, or
equivalent, material is highly recommended.
Shoes: Full coverage shoes (no sandles)
Safety Helmet: Snell SA2005 rated full coverage helmet is required. If you have long hair or facial
hair, you must wear an SFI 3.3 rated head sock.
Eye Protection: Helmet face shield or safety glasses (sun glasses are OK).
Clothing: A full driving suit (one piece is recommended) which satisfies, at a minimum, either
the SFI 3.2A/5 or FIA 8886-2000 specifications is required. Alternatively, SFI 3.2A/1 (or /3) outer garments
combined with SFI 3.3 rated long underware are acceptable.
Gloves: SFI 3.3/5 rated gloves.
Shoes: SFI 3.3/5 rated shoes plus SFI 3.3 rated socks.
